Alternative Care offers a variety of activities.

At Alternative Care, we understand the importance of having an active community. We offer an array of activities, social and recreational, for seniors, as well as daily exercise classes to help our residents keep healthy and fit.

Our programming is tailored specifically for the needs of seniors, keeping in mind the overall health of the mind, body, and spirit. Our programming varies week to week, while maintaining a few staples each day, such as exercise. Here is a snap shot of typical activities offered throughout the year.

Mind

Our mental wellness programming focuses on activities designed around memory enhancement and retention. We want our residents to be inspired through creative outlets and encourage them to participate in many of these activities. Here is a sampling of activities focused around mental wellness:

  • Memory and word games

Body

Our physical fitness program is focused on maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle for our residents at any fitness level. We are pleased to offer daily activities focused around getting active. Here is just a sample of our physical fitness activities our residents enjoy:

Spirit

Our programming focused on maintaining a healthy and positive spirit is centered around entertaining, cultural, and religious activities. We believe in promoting engagement in activities that enhance the residents experience through cultural, musical, spiritual, and other life-enhancing programming.
